Robert Marguccio – Vice Chairman
Robert Marguccio is the Business Team Manager – Packaging, Heat and Control, operating from their Melbourne sales/service office. Robert has an Honours Degree in Mechanical Engineering, as well as an MBA. He has over 20 years’ experience in the Packaging Industry, along with extensive experience in general management, manufacturing, sales, marketing and R&D. Rob was elected to the Board in September 2006 and holds the position of APPMA Vice Chairman. Robert’s focus since joining the Board has been on driving growth and progress of the APPMA.
Mark Dingley – Chairman
Mark Dingley is the Chief Executive Officer at Matthews Australasia, based in Melbourne, holding a Bachelor of Applied Science at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. Mark has more than 20 years of experience in the product identification and inspection industry. He has immense practical knowledge gained from working closely with Australian manufacturers and industry associations. He is passionate about developing and implementing standards that drive efficiency and accuracy, as well as reduce wastage in the supply chain. Mark is a regular visitor to international tradeshows & conferences to keep abreast of global best practice, technology updates and trends as well as also being a regular guest speaker at similar events. Mark was elected to the Board in December 2002 and has held a number of Board positions over the years. He is the current Chairman of the APPMA and is passionate about ensuring the Association delivers on its mandate of promoting, integrating and fostering participation and development within the Packaging and Processing Industry.
Mark Emmett – Treasurer
Mark Emmett is the managing Director at HMPS and Propac Industrial, both design and build packaging machinery for customers in a variety of industries – food and beverage, pharmaceutical, personal care and most recently white goods. Both pride themselves on local manufacture providing customers with innovative automation solutions to every day packaging problems. Their designs are flexible to ensure it can adapt to the changing needs of their customers. Operating for more than twenty-five years and employ 70 staff.
Mark was elected to the Board in September 2006 holding the position of APPMA Treasurer. Mark is also a Member of the Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP).
Dr Rym Kachouri is the Service and Product Manager at Foodmach, based in Melbourne. She leads the technical support business for Foodmach, with a large team of technicians based nationally. Rym also manages the entire agency portfolio for Foodmach, including technologies such as case packing, fully automatic stretch wrapping, product inspection and product traceability solutions. Previously, Rym held technology and commercial leadership roles with German based HEUFT. Working in France, Germany, China and Japan, and able to speak 5 languages, she became recognised as a world leader of X-ray inspection technologies for packaging applications. Rym was first elected to the Board in September 2017, and re-elected in 2020.
Peter Bradbury is the Sales Manager; Robotic Packaging Solutions, at ABB Australia, based in Melbourne. Peter has over thirty years of experience in materials handling and packaging, including the last twenty-one years with ABB, firstly selling robot based automation systems and now supporting ABB’s robot partners throughout Australia and promoting robots to the food and beverage industries. Peter was elected to the Board in December 2008.
James Windsor is the Chief Executive Officer at Fibre King, holding a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Queensland he is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and has been a Director of Fibre King since 2013. James is the 4th generation of Windsor’s to manage the Brisbane based company that started in 1926 and celebrates a long history in producing some of the world’s best packaging machines within the food, beverage, meat, dairy, FMCG, personal care, pharmaceutical and fresh produce industries. With a team of close to 100 designers, engineers, technicians, sales, service and support staff, the company exports the international standard in packaging equipment across the globe. James joined the Board in February 2018.
Robert Becher is an owner and Managing Director of INOX. Robert holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and MBA with the Australian Institute of Business.
Robert is a creative thinker. Very Passionate about his industry and his work. Never afraid to voice his thoughts and bring any potential ideas to the table.
For more than 25 years, Robert has been a leading figure in the Australian engineering and food processing industry, both nationally and across Asia. Robert’s leadership of INOX has seen the business grow from a stainless steel fabrication company in 1998, servicing the Australian dairy, beverage and food industry to a business that has proven expertise in the mixing-cooking-cooling of food products and thermal processes for custom designed, specialised made to order manufactured equipment and systems. INOX is a highly regarded food processing equipment company in Australia and has exported completed projects to Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, USA, UK and Jamaica.
Recent wins at the Food and Beverage Industry Awards for ‘2019 Innovative technology of the year’ and ‘2019 Best of the Best’ categories are testament to INOX success.
Robert brings with him significant business and industry experience which combined with his processing background, technical expertise, industry contacts and knowledge, work to compliment the strengths of the APPMA Board and further enhance the attractiveness of APPMA within the processing segment of the industry. He has a strong interest in social media and marketing along with direct engagement with members and end users in the food industry.
As a manufacturer and exporter of equipment Robert also brings experience and knowledge regarding international markets and exhibiting at international shows. Robert was elected to the Board in 2019.
Mark Hollingsworth is the Rhima Group Chief Executive Officer. Mark originates from the UK where he started his working career as an Engineering apprentice before taking further studies in Engineering, and subsequently moving into the design field. He migrated to Australia nearly 25 years ago and has progressed through various sales and marketing roles for large multinational companies before moving into management with roles such as Business Line Manager, General Manager, Regional Director and now Chief Executive Officer in various machinery sectors working for International companies such as Atlas Copco, Ingersoll Rand and now the Rhima Group.
His experience in the Compressed Air industry, and now the Ware washing industry has provided him with a vast knowledge of customer applications, both locally and internationally, and he has worked with teams in design, manufacturing, sales and aftermarket organisations in growing their businesses. With a background in both international and local business, Mark has a good eye on how to develop a business and identifying what is important to both the customer and the supplier, in a B2B and B2C business environment.
Mark was elected to the Board in 2020.
