at the final Member Networking Series dinner for 2019.
As part of the Australian Packaging and Processing Machinery Association’s on-going commitment to delivering value to our members, the Board is pleased to extend a complimentary invitation to our member companies to join us for the Brisbane member dinner, to be held on Tuesday, 12 November, commencing with welcome drinks at 6.00pm.
For the November dinner, we are pleased to welcome guest speaker Amy Cobb, Queensland State Manager of OzHarvest.
OzHarvest is Australia’s leading food rescue organisation with a driving purpose to Nourish Our Country. It began with a simple concept to rescue good food that would otherwise go to waste and deliver it to people in need. The OzHarvest Family collect surplus food from donors like supermarkets, hotels and airlines that would otherwise go to landfill.
OzHarvest Brisbane rescues over 100,000 kilograms of quality, excess food each month and delivers directly to more than 120 local charities including school breakfast programs, domestic violence shelters, emergency food relief programs, youth groups and street vans.
Amy will present the story of OzHarvest, the initiatives and challenges today and how businesses can support.
The invitation extends to your staff and colleagues as this evening is a great opportunity for our APPMA members to network and hear from presenters on topical matters.
This event will be popular and seats are limited so please register now.
We hope you can join us.
