Contract Packaging Systems (CPS), formerly known as Cling Packaging Systems, was founded in 1985 by proprietor Chris Bishop. The company has evolved to become one of the largest distributors of SIAT globally, and the exclusive agent for Maillis and SIAT carton sealers and wrappers in Australia and New Zealand. At every step in the company’s growth, CPS have expanded both their technological expertise and understanding of client needs. Adding high-end capabilities, with the introduction of Combi into their product range, CPS, truly deliver end-to-end packaging solutions. CPS provides end-to-end packaging and servicing solutions to maximise their clients’ production lines. From small businesses to the largest global organisations; CPS cater for the likes of Coke, Cadbury, IGA, SPC (food and beverage), Kraft and Fosters – CPS can offer all clients prompt maintenance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Service is a large part of the CPS business, with 11 service technicians on the road, and a full listing of spare parts, not only Siat machines. They consider themselves a one spot shop for servicing.
CPS specialise in both automatic and semi-automatic machines, catering for a range of packaging lines. CPS not only provides the machines, but install and warrant them, along with training staff. CPS also offers tailored modifications to clients, creating machines to meet specific packaging lines. CPS are the only company in Australia that make semi-automatic product manuals available to their clients on-line; clients are not bound to costly call-outs, and have access to documents that act as additional visual aids.
THEIR PEOPLE
CPS offers a truly personal service. Each client is assigned a team, not just an individual; two Sales representatives – National and State Manager, IT manager and Installation representative. The CPS sales teams have technical and engineering backgrounds, offering clients optimum advice and servicing. Service is the centre of the CPS core values.

- Siat carton formers, erectors/bottom sealers, semi and fully automatic carton sealing tape and hot melt machines, conveyors, servicing and spare parts.
- Combi carton formers, erectors, pick and place and drop packers, both in tape and hot melt machines.
- All machines can be fitted with scales and labelling equipment.
Materials Handling Equipment
- Siat semi and fully automatic pallet wrapping machines capable of wrapping over 100 pallets per hour, accessories, servicing and spare parts.
