On the 15th & 16th July, Festo opens its doors for an interactive live experience on an innovative platform.
As we’ve seen around the world as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, many international and local trade shows have been postponed or cancelled this year. It is in these extraordinary times that lead to extraordinary ideas and one in which Festo is about to embark on with the first ever Festo Virtual Exhibition to be held on the 15th & 16th July 2020.
Festo was preparing for one of the largest international trade events Hannover Fair before it was cancelled. So that nobody would miss out on the latest automation trends, this paved the way for an innovative approach to create an exciting virtual experience with the possibility to interact with industry experts just like in person. That is why Festo built a real-life exhibition stand at their headquarters to bring an interactive live experience where customers worldwide can be immersed into the reality of real dynamic displays. Driven by the key trends of digitalisation, individualised production, climate protection and demographic change, visitors will get the chance to see the latest innovations and highlights, exchange experiences with specialists in real time and register for numerous live presentations that will discuss critical issues in the industry.
The theme of the Festo Virtual Exhibition is ‘Industrial Transformation‘ with a focus on Smart, Flexible and Digital automation solutions to help drive industry forward. There’s a lot to see and discover at the Festo virtual booth with successful technologies for increased productivity from energy efficient systems, digital pneumatics, process control and automation, seamless connectivity, sustainability in production, bionic concepts plus so much more. One of the highlights will be the Productivity Master, a machine that demonstrates the benefits of digitalisation in manufacturing. Festo’s Productivity Master demonstrates how many different technologies that are already available can be combined to achieve major improvements in automation, operations and maintenance. By bringing typical application examples onto the Productivity Master, Festo aims to make it easier for all those involved in the decision-making process to associate Industry 4.0 and digitalisation to real life and therefore see how future digitalisation principles can be applied to production lines today.
The Productivity Master is just one of the many highlights of the Festo Virtual Exhibition. To see it in action as well as other highlights visit www.festo.com/virtualexhibition from the 15th July 2020.
