It appears that across all of the Australian States and Territories, MANUFACTURING is an approved workforce, throughout the different stages of lockdown.
The APPMA recommends that if you are visiting a client at their workplace, to please ensure you contact them in advance to determine their COVID Safe Plan, what you will be required to do before or upon your arrival, and whether or not they are allowing visitors to their premises.

As of 11:59pm on Monday 16 of August 2021, Victoria’s lockdown was extended and harsher restrictions were imposed.
That means you can only leave home to get the food and the supplies you need, for exercise for up to two hours and no more than 5kms from your home, for care or caregiving, work or education if you can’t do it from home or to get vaccinated at the nearest possible location.

BORDER: Queensland / New South Wales
Essential workers currently permitted to cross into Queensland from New South Wales (X, XQ or XN Pass holder) will be required to have at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccination by Friday 20 August 2021.
X Pass holders are now eligible to attend selected Queensland Health Vaccination Locations without a booking until Friday 20 August 2021, to receive a priority vaccination.
Any person entering Queensland from New South Wales, including a Queensland resident who is re-entering Queensland after having travelled to the New South Wales border zone is required to apply for and receive a Queensland Border Declaration Pass.

Reconsider all travel to New South Wales.
If you travel to the border zone within New South Wales for any other reason you are required to return to Queensland via air and quarantine for 14 days in government nominated accommodation.
