APPMA Business & Industry Conference 2021
Do you have a project success or case study to share with the Australian packaging and processing industry? We are seeking abstracts from various disciplines, skills, knowledge bases and experience – if you have a story to tell that industry can learn from, we want to hear about it!
Overview of conference
As Australia emerges from the disruption wrought by the global pandemic, a ‘new normal’ is beginning to take shape. Amidst the uncertainty, economic trends are positioning the packaging and processing sector as an essential industry, playing a vital role in securing Australia’s supply chains, and as a source of much-needed jobs and growth. Coupled with a sharper focus on sustainability as the looming ‘next crisis’, there is no better time for our industry to invest in innovation, technology and talent to ensure it is at the forefront of the economic recovery.
In 2021 the APPMA Business & Industry Conference will be delivered as a hybrid event centred around the theme ‘2021: Investing in Resilience’. The conference will be held live and live-streamed from ICC Sydney, enabling our members, partners and supporting industries to attend in-person or virtually from anywhere. The speaker program will feature a mix of high-profile industry experts and international thought leaders who will address the multiple challenges and opportunities the sector faces in the new economy, providing the practical tools required to help navigate these uncertain times, with an eye to securing a sustainable and resilient future.
