Now is not the time to cut back on investing in your team, your business and the wider industry.
While COVID-19 has put a stop to most in-person business and industry conferences, events and meetings, including our planned September conference, the APPMA Board and Management remain committed to providing ongoing and timely support and education services.
With that in mind, we have decided to reframe the planned keynote/panel sessions from the conference into a FREE digital lunchtime series with the same overarching banner, Investing in Resilience. The keynote and panel sessions feature a mix of high-profile industry experts and international thought leaders covering a range of topics essential for the ongoing development, growth and protection of the manufacturing sector in Australia.
The high-quality information, insights, education and critical takeaways from these sessions are viewed as too important and urgent to defer until 2022.
The move to a 100% online series allows everyone the opportunity to participate, including the opportunity to ask questions through the live Q&A and to network with industry colleagues and speakers in the online meeting hub.
The new dates and details for each Digital Lunchtime Series are as follows:
The case studies and technical presentations from the original conference program will be deferred until May 2022, where they can be incorporated into AUSPACK and Packaging and Processing week events and activities, allowing necessary in-person interaction and engagement to once again be included.
The current circumstances do not warrant or justify doing nothing. The APPMA will continue to invest in the resilience and ongoing development, growth and protection of the manufacturing sector in Australia, which will be one of the engine rooms of the industry’s recovery.
All those with previously purchased tickets to the APPMA Business & Industry Conference will be refunded in full.
