APPMA partner with Hort Connections 2020

Chairman of the APPMA – Mark Dingley, is proud to announce the partnership between the APPMA and Hort Connections 2020 (HC20).

Hort Connections 2020, the annual largest horticulture event in the southern hemisphere, inclusive of an internationally recognised trade show and speaker programme. HC20 is the most influential opportunity for networking, education and business for the entire fresh produce industry. An industry in which APPMA members are intrinsically intertwined with throughout their business operations as demonstrated in 2019 with many APPMA members exhibiting at the show and many more attending as visitors.

Not only does this partnership provide the opportunity to support our exhibiting members, it also a serves as a great platform to acknowledge and promote all of our APPMA members as well as the upcoming AUSPACK 2021; Australasia’s all-encompassing food, beverage and pharmaceutical packaging and processing exhibition. Which, as Mark explains is ‘evidence to the APPMA’s long term commitment to continue to deliver increased value and support to its members.’

Hort Connections 2020 in Brisbane follows on from a very successful Hort Connections 2019 in Melbourne. The HC20 conference theme Sustaining the Future of Fresh, will look at the many ways the industry can help producers to grow more with less. Whether it be through technology, labour solutions, or just general financial and environmental sustainability, Hort Connections will seek to answer this question by highlighting and displaying exciting new possibilities set to shape the industry. Hort Connections 2020 will connect an even larger number of horticulture industry leaders who’re wishing to conduct business, examine trends, and discuss topics of common interest. Attendee analysis indicates a diverse-cross-section of the produce industry is covered, with those identifying as a grower/packer/processor forming the largest segment.

APPMA General Manager – Michael Moran, is the curator of the partnership and strongly encourages all ‘APPMA members to explore the value of exhibiting or attending Hort Connections 2020.’ When registering as an exhibitor or visitor we ask that members note they are APPMA industry affiliated which will help track and assess attendance as well as provide partnership benefits that can be utilised for additional member support services.

Hort Connections 2020 will be held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre 15-17 June 2020.

When registering, either as an exhibitor or attendee, you will be directed to select an ‘Industry’ – this is where you should indicate you are an APPMA member.
